By utilising the atomic clock signals from GPS satellites a dedicated NTP GPS time server can synchronize an entire network to within a few milliseconds of UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

Available anywhere on the planet, GPS is a convenient, secure, reliable and accurate method of time synchronization. Receiving the signals via a GPS antenna a Galleon NTP time server will convert it from GPS time to UTC and then distribute it amongst and entire network using Network Time Protocol.
