Cisco is one of the world's leading suppliers of routers and network devices and Galleon Systems have a range of network time servers and other time synchronization tools that can work hand-in-hand with your Cisco systems.

While Cisco devices already implement NTP (Network Time Protocol) Cisco's implementation of NTP does not support stratum 1 service so it is not possible to connect to a radio or atomic clock. However, by using a Galleon NTP server in conjunction with your Cisco devices, synchronization to an atomic clock source is possible.

Synchronizing your Cisco devices to an atomic clock time source like UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is achieved by either using either the WWVB radio transmission, broadcast from Colorado, or by utilising the GPS satellite signals available anywhere on the planet.
