NTP Server Uk
NTP server UK and Europe synchronization
For time synchronization in the United States the Colorado time signal WWVB broadcast by NIST (National Institute for Standards and Time) is an easy and accessible
log wave signal used by millions of time servers across North America to synchronize to the world’s time standard UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
For NTP server installations in the Europe, similar signals exist and Galleon have a wide range of atomic radio clock receivers and NTP time servers that can pick up these broadcasts. In the UK, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) broadcasts the MSF signal from Cumbria in the North of England while the German Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) broadcast their DCF signal from Frankfurt in central Germany. Both of these signals are available throughout bordering countries although local topography can cause some interference.
For NTP server installations in areas where these signals are unavailable a Galleon GPS time server can receive a UTC time signal from anywhere on the globe. Using WWVB, MSF, DCF or the GPS signal a Using a galleon time server can synchronize an entire network to within a few milliseconds of UTC.
