NTP Server systems for accurate time synchronization
For time synchronization, there is no substitute for a dedicated NTP server. Using Network Time Protocol (NTP) a Galleon NTP server will distribute an atomic clock source across a network using either GPS or the Colorado WWVB signal. A single Galleon NTP server can synchronize thousands of workstations, routers and other devices to within a few milliseconds of the atomic clock time UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
Working externally to the computer firewall, a Galleon NTP server can send and receive the time signals without compromising security. A NTP server will also adjust for daylight saving time and account for 'Leap Seconds' ensuring millisecond accuracy 365 days a year.
