Stand alone rack mount NTP time server


NTS-4000-WWVB-S


A simple to use NTP time server that receives accurate time from the atomic radio clock time signal (WWVB) and using NTP can provide this synchronised time via a Ethernet port to any computer, server, switch, etc that conforms to the Network Time Protocol V3. Can process 1,000 NTP requests per minute.


Connects directly to Ethernet, fits in a standard 19" rack, 1U high, incorporates a Galleon GPS Computer Clock, tracks up to 12 satellites, with remote GPS antenna that can be positioned up to 100m away as standard, or up to 1,000m with optional antenna extension kit. With LCD signal strength display for easy installation, an integral time display and Ethernet CAT5 connection. Software driver for uni-cast, broadcast or multi-cast NTP time synchronization. Conforms to Network Time Protocol.

The Galleon NTS-4000-WWVB-S is a standalone "ready-to-run" NTP time server for TCP/IP networks, which comes with network based interface for management and configuration.

The IP address of the unit can be configured by using DHCP to assigning an IP address automatically or a fixed IP address can be used. A display shows run-time information for the NTP server.

The NTS-4000 can handle more than 100 NTP requests per second, making it the choice for providing accurate time information to network with multiple clients.
