Need a PC Time Server to ensure the correct time on your Windows network then the Workstation GPS clock is an excellent PC Time Server, it receives the time via an antenna from the GPS satellites and then synchronises the time of the computer it is attached to, in addition the software supplied with the Workstation GPS Clock sets itself up as a NTP Time server to allow the distribution of time across the network.

WorkstationGPS Clock. Serial interface (USB optional), tracks up to 8 satellites, provides synchronised time in any location world-wide, mains powered. Software driver is Time-Sync NTP to synchronize the time on a single Windows Server or Workstation and can also synchronize PC's, workstations and other NT servers across the network. Consists of mains powered GPS Computer Clock with PPS for accuracy with antenna that can be positioned up to 15m away from the computer (5m supplied) and serial interface (USB optional).

Software driver is Time-Sync NTP to synchronize the time on a single Windows Server or Workstation and can also synchronize PC's, workstations and other NT servers across the network.

Consists of mains powered GPS Computer Clock with PPS for accuracy with antenna that can be positioned up to 100m away from the computer (10m supplied) and serial interface (USB optional). Three year warranty.

Software supplied with the Galleon Workstation GPS :


  • Software for Windows 2000, runs as a service and sets itself up as a NTP time server.
  • Software for Windows 2003, runs as a service and sets itself up as a NTP time server.
  • Software for Windows NT, runs as a service and sets itself up as a NTP time server.
  • Software for Windows XP, runs as a service and sets itself up as a NTP time server.
